Harper & Sons, Inc was the General Contractor for this 190-unit apartment renovation project, which included complete gut-rehab interior and exterior renovations of all apartments on two separate campuses, located 1/2 mile apart. The project also entailed extensive site work for ADA-compliance, new entry canopies, Main Office renovations, and driveway upgrades. The project was completed over a 24-month period with up to 50 units under construction at once. Harper & Sons, Inc’s pre-construction services included estimating, design feedback, scheduling. The project was funded by a unique combination of HUD 221(d)4 RAD funds, as well as 4% LIHTC administered through Maryland Community Development Administration.
